A Visit from the Bishop

On Monday 27th March 2017, Strood Academy students in year 10 and year 13 were lucky to meet with the Bishop of Rochester. The Bishop attended a number of RS lessons and students asked him questions ranging from what his role involved to his views on capital punishment.

The Bishop provided some very interesting answers to the students' questions and was also able to talk to students about his recent experience when he was at the House of Lords during the atrocity that took place last Wednesday afternoon. His recollections of how the police and members of the public supported one another to ensure that everyone was as safe as possible was very reassuring.

We would like to thank the Bishop and his colleagues for taking time out of their very busy schedules and joining us on Monday morning.
