Students involved in the new building design

Strood Academy has been selected to receive Sorrell Foundation support to involve students in the design process of the new Academy building. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to influence and be involved in the design of the new Academy buildings.

A group of students attended a 'Joinedupdesign' event at the Royal Festival Hall and Somerset House in London. The event, held in March included a guided tour of London's Southbank and various workshops and presentations. The event was a great success and further student involvement events are being arranged for the future.
