A Level Dance Trip
The AS Dance group went to London for the day on the last PBL day.
We went to The Place, which is a dance college where you can study degree level courses or go there to do dance classes. We then went to Sadler’s Wells theatre to see a performance of “Overdrive” which is one of the A level set works. This was extremely useful as the choreographer talked about the work before hand and explained some of the key features. There was also a question and answer session with the dancers afterwards which was very interesting.
Then we went to Pineapple dance studios where we met Louie Spence from the Pineapple dance studios programme, which we were very excited about. We then did a contemporary dance class which was so much fun. The routine we learnt was very emotional and this will help us with our dance coursework. Once we had worked really hard it was time for a deserved rest and we finished off our evening with a trip to an Italian Restaurant.
The day was so much fun and extremely useful for our course.
