Year 9 Functional Designs

Year 9 spent the January Project Based Learning day designing models, building models and exploring Mathematics link.

UCA ambassadors were at hand to offer a helping hand and also provided an evaluation of the day.

"The day was really great. Students were designing and building cabins from paper and straws. They made really interesting and beautiful final pieces, and the teachers motivated the students well."

"The day was a very creative and interactive day especially in discovering the aspects of Mathematics necessary for building and architecture. The day was a fun day where activities included designing and making kites, log cabins, covered wagons, and discovering how roller coasters work."
