Year 7 UCA Project

As part of our January PBL day, 16 year 7 students went to UCA to start a 6 week art project.

We left the academy at 9.30 and went on the mini bus to UCA. When we first arrived we had a tour of the university. A nice lady called Gabi showed us the whole of UCA. We got to see many students at work, this was really great as we got to see so many different art projects happening.



After lunch we started our project. We went into a huge room that was full of chairs, the whole class sat on the black comfy chairs. We did a few activities like making paper animals, creative writing and then we made a tree out of straws and had to hang tags from the branches. These tags were about us and what we like. We are so excited and we can’t wait until next week.
It was a very good day we took our trees home because they were fantastic.
