Year 11 Business trip to Paris

We embarked on our three day trip to Paris. After meeting our excellent guide, Guy, we travelled down to Paris and on the first evening we went up the Seine and saw the Eiffel tower at night.

On day two we had a tour of Paris and we went up the Eiffel tower, which was an amazing experience but very high! We went to the Sacre Coeur which was beautiful and also had an impromptu sing-song with a very talented guitarist – they certainly should be on the X factor! We visited Notre Dame cathedral but there was no sign of Esmeralda or Quasimodo! Next stop was a walk along the Champs Elyse which had the enchanting Christmas markets and up to the Arc de Triomph. It was very cold but the Christmas decorations were lovely to see. On day three we travelled to Disneyland Paris and had a great day going on the rides and stocking up on our last minute Christmas gifts. To top the day off it started to snow and again we had a Christmas moment!

I would like to thank Miss Richards and Mrs Fenton who accompanied me on the trip for all their hard work and the Students were a delight to take and made every effort to embrace the Paris experience and people they met on their visit.
