Year 10 Thorpe Park Trip
For year 10’s PBL day, we were taken on a trip to Thorpe Park, although the weather was miserable, it wasn’t able to dampen our spirits!
Fortunately, because of the rain, we never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get on a ride! On the other hand, some rides were unable to run for safety reasons, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying all the others! We all had a brilliant day; getting onto to nearly all the rides and even going on some more than once.
During the day, there were three time slots where we could register and go to the Thorpe Park lecture. We all turned up to the slots that best fitted us, the lecturer took us to the workshop where he was able to show us the mechanics of the rides and ensuring us that we would never fall out of our seats! Overall it was an exciting and thrilling day out that we all loved and would look forward to doing again.
