TRY ANGLE awards

On Tuesday 28 June, Strood Academy was well represented at the prestigious Medway Youth Parliament TRY ANGLE awards ceremony.

Try Angle Awards recognise the hard work and commitment of both individuals and groups of young people aged 10 to 18 in Medway. The awards fall into 10 categories:

Bravery
Personal Achievement in Arts
Personal Achievement in Music
Personal Achievement in Sport
Change Makers
Volunteering and Service to the Community
Citizenship and Environment
Good Friends and Young Carers
Personal Development
Positive Media Image

All of the students pictured here were nominated for one of the above categories and proudly received their nomination certificates on the stage.

Congratulations to Chanel for winning the "Personal Achievement In The Arts" category, which was personally presented to her by the Mayor of Medway, Cllr Ted Baker.
