STEM site tour

On Wednesday the 22nd of June 2011, 16 students from our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) group had an opportunity to have a guided tour of the building site.

The tour was taken by the Project Manager of BAM, who are building the new school.

Students were all very excited about the fact that they all had to wear personal protective equipment which includes hard hats, gloves and high visibility safety jackets. During the tour they had a chance to see what it takes to build our new school. During the tour they learnt about the health and safety requirements. Also they were able to see how the plans were interpreted to build the school. The Project Manager was kept very busy answering many questions from the students.

It was a great opportunity and all students had a great time as you can see on photographs below:
