Site Visit STEM students

STEM students were taken around the work site of the new Strood Academy building.

Students were able to experience firsthand how different aspects of the building have been developed and how they will eventually link with completed build. They were also able to speak directly to people who work in the building industry and to gain insight into how careers have changed as technology has shifted, as well as discussing the future needs of the industry.

Students were encouraged to consider how their education was linked to their potential future career and future training.
