Race For Life 2011

On May 7, 80 Academy Year 11 Girls and staff took part in "Race For Life" to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events to walk, jog or run to help beat cancer.

Our staff and students had a great time supporting this wonderful event! Here's what some of the girls had to say:
