Presentation Evening 2010

We celebrated the Academy's first set of GCSE, BTEC and A Level results with a wonderful award evening on 8 December 2010.

Professor Diane Taylor, Pro Vice Chancellor of UCA and a Governor at Strood Academy welcomed our guests and introduced the evening, which started with an address from Mr Hart, our Principal.

Following a lovely performance of "To make you feel my love" by Leah Guest, the year 11 certificates were presented, then following an equally impressive performance of "No more I love you's" by Charlotte Stout the 6th form received theirs.

Professor Mark Hunt, Deputy Vice Chancellor of UCA and Chair of Governors at Strood Academy presented all of the certificates, addressed the audience with a keynote speech, and finished the formal part of the evening by presenting the prizes which are pictured below.
