Planetarium Visit: STEM and G&T Students

image

On Thursday 9 June 2011, 50 students from years 7-10 and staff visited the Greenwich Planetarium. These students were selected from our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) group and our Gifted and Talented cohort.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the Planetarium show and seeing the history of astronomy, they were a real credit to the Academy. Here's what they had to say:

"Gifted and Talented students for Science were allowed on the trip to Greenwich Planetarium. We had an amazing and fascinating day observing the universe!" - Lauren D, year 10
