Our Trip to Disneyland

At around 8 oclock in the morning on Monday 31st January, 20 of us set off to go to Disney land Paris. We travelled by coach down to Folkestone to cross the channel with all of us very excited.
We then got onto the train for the Eurotunnel. When we got into Paris, we heard some screaming from the back of the coach, Sarahs phone wasnt working - we all laughed but dreaded it as we knew she wouldnt be able to live without it. Everyone expected it to be a short journey from Calais to Disneyland but after a five hour journey with a lot of singing, we were all exhausted when we got there. Lucky for the teachers!

When we arrived we were all eager to get off the coach but had to wait for the driver to sort out the luggage, but as soon as we heard the word everyone ran out the doors to collect their suitcases. We then had a short walk to our western themed hotel and were told over and over again to not break anything as there was a lamp in the shape of a boot that cost 200.
In a few hours, everyone was finally ready and we headed off to the Disney Village for some food and some shopping. Surprise, surprise- everyone went to McDonalds. And us all being teenage girls, got carried away with shopping and spent most of our money!
The next morning was a very early morning- about 6 oclock. Skipping breakfast, we got to the park at around 8. We got given our park tickets and within about 2 minutes Sophie and Daisy had lost them. After a frantic search, all was well and we got into the park. Everyone headed for Space Mountain, and there was no queue. We got on it and within a second heard Mr Gannon screaming- more than all of us girls. When we got off it everyone had such a good ride that we went on it straight away again, then again, then again! After being on it 4 times in a row everyone was feeling very sick so we headed to Dumbo for a more relaxing ride. We then went on the tea cups, everyone grabbed the ones they wanted but poor Lily was left to ride on her own.

Some of us had been told that the Pirates of the Caribbean ride would be very exhilarating, so we got on it and it wasnt up to expectations- at all. With a drop that was about a metre. As we were on a school trip, there had to be some education involved, so we all met up and headed to the cinema for a talk about performing arts and music within Disneyland, however, most people nearly fell asleep. Then a lot of us headed off to McDonalds for some lunch because we were starving, having missed breakfast.
While we were in McDonalds Mr Gannon got a phone call from Leila, as she wanted to go on the Tower of Terrors, but none of her friends would join her. So, Mr Gannon, Jade and Sarah went to meet her. Everyone went down into smaller groups and went in different directions; some went on the Rock n Roller Coaster and the Aladdin ride, others went off to the Indiana Jones ride and Louise and Daisy went on the Toy Story Parachute ride. We later met up, to return to the hotel to get ready for the evening. Mr Gannon, Sophie, Lexy, Lily, Jade, Alicia and Sarah, went to Café Mickey where they got to meet most of the characters. We had another educational talk after dinner, which failed to keep most of us awake. We then went back off to the hotel and got ready for the morning, which we would be leaving.

In the morning we had to pack our stuff up and get everything ready. We went down to breakfast, and again met some more characters, and after went back to our rooms to collect our belongings and take them down to the hotel reception. It took 3 people to shut Sarahs suitcase but it was closed, eventually.
We went down to the village to do some last minute shopping and then to attend our final educational talk. We then put all our bags on the coach, and headed off back home. After 2 hours, we had a much needed stop at the services. When we got back on the coach, we went straight to the euro tunnel, got on the train and arrived back in England.
Although we all had an amazing time in Paris, it was good to be home, and to be able to use our phones again! We would like to say a very big thank you to Mr Gannon and Mrs Monk for coming on the trip to supervise us!
