New York March 2010

40 students and 4 staff thoroughly enjoyed the cultural visit to New York:

Our visit was a full on itinerary taking on most of the sites of New York, with many tired feet to show for the end as we walked to most places! The highlights of our schedule were:

Wednesday
Walking through the city to Hollister,
Walking back all the way to Times Square,
Pizza at St Johns's Pizzeria,
Getting to bed!

Thursday
Subway to South Ferry Station,
Ferry to Staten Island to view the Statue of Liberty and South Manhattan,
The Walk through the Finance District,
Seeing Ground Zero,
Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge,
The Empire State Building,
The Rocker Feller Centre,
An evening in Times Square.

Friday
Breakfast at Macy's with a seminar on business and marketing,
Madison Square Garden,
An evening meal at Hard Rock Cafe.

Saturday
Subway to Central Park,
Strawberry Fields,
Bloomingdales,
A walk down 5th Avenue taking in many famous shops,
And finally, heading off to JFK for our overnight flight home!
