Magazine Club

Magazine club has been running every Thursday morning in the canteen, here's what the students have to say about it:

"I recently joined magazine club which is on every Thursday morning in the canteen. When I first started I had to sign up and get a membership card. We also get a free cup of hot chocolate which we drink while we read the magazine. I usually read the ‘Topgear’ magazine as I have an interest in cars and bicycles especially BMX bicycles." - Tobias

"Magazine club is an exciting new club that takes place in the canteen at 8 o’clock every Thursday morning. Once you sign up you can sit in the canteen, read your favourite magazine and enjoy a nice free hot chocolate. If you sign up and find that your magazine isn’t there all you have to do is write down the name of the magazine that you would like and give it to one of the teachers that runs the club. I’m really enjoying magazine club as it is a really good opportunity to read things that I’m interested in. Lots of pupils have already signed up and they have said really nice things about it." - Sonny

Chrissy D in Year 8 read Gromit and Gnasher, and said "reading magazines is really good for you as it helps you learn lots of new words as well as find out some interesting information."
