Go Geographers!
The first two terms of 2011/12 have been a busy time for the year 11 geography students. They have travelled to Colomendy in North Wales to complete a field study, written a 2,000 word research project and some even ventured to the Natural History Museum in London to help prepare them for their January exams.
It now appears as if all this hard work is paying off. The vast majority of coursework has been completed to a high standard and the students have just produced some excellent mock examination results.
Every student managed to improve their mark by one grade while others demonstrated two levels of improvement. If this performance can be repeated in the January exams, the future looks very bright for the class of 2012.
