Choir Hospice Visit

On Thursday 8 December, a group of students from the Strood Academy Choir and soloists went to sing at the Elleanor Lions Hospice in Gravesend.

The entertainment that was provided included a selection of songs from various musicals, pop songs and traditional Christmas carols. It also included solos from Hannah D, Georgina U and Sarah C on the flute. The students performed beautifully and were asked to perform again during the next term.

As it was such a success and enjoyed by all who attended, we aim to make this just one of many more out of school visits into the community – we want to show off the talent here at Strood Academy!
