Cake Sale

Some of our 6th form students held a cake sale as part of their fundraising for HOPEHIV.
For our community group, Kate, Lisa, Gemma, Christina and I are working on the hope HIV project alongside fellow peers. In order to raise money for hope HIV we decided to hold a cake sale on Wednesday 17th November.
The cake sale was available to all year groups during all 3 breaks and lunches. Gemma, Lisa, Christina, Kate, Mrs Noble and I all made a contribution of cakes to sell. In total over 200 cakes were available to sell. Within moments of opening the cake sale, many students and teachers purchased a cake or two. With such a large interest in the cake sale we were running out fast and during the year 11 and sixth form lunch a trip to the garage was made to purchase more cakes to sell.
With a great success and all of our cakes sold we made a total of £53.40; all of which goes towards the HOPEHIV charity. Due to the success of this cake sale we are hoping to carry out another in the near future. Thank you to all those who bought a cake and contributed to the charity.
