Activities Week: Kite Workshops

As part of our 2011 Activities Week, Mr Barlow lead a session where students designed and made their own kites from tissue paper, dowling, string and imagination!

Students enjoyed the whole process of desiging, using raw materials, creating, modifying and flying their kites. There was a fantastic team spirit as they helped and encouraged each other. The pictures really do speak for themselves, showing how rewarding and enjoyable kite flying can be.
