Chartwells are the longest established School meals provider in the UK, with over twenty one year’s service.
During this time we have gained a vast amount of experience to build our credentials along with the professional resource to actively and competitively compete. Chartwells are solely an education business, providing services across the education spectrum to ensure we focus on our clients’ unique priorities within each sector and age range. Due to this approach we have been recognised in the industry as the leading School meal provider for both Secondary and Academy Schools. Within the secondary sector we now provide both catering and facilities management services to over 215 schools and academies, which are directly managed via our regional management team and support staff with offices located in Medway, Chertsey, Uxbridge and Birmingham.
At Strood Academy:
At Strood Academy, we provide the students with a nutritionally compliant food service which captures and represent the cultural diversity of the student population. We believe that easy access to high quality and affordable food is the order of the day at Strood Academy. To deliver this we have introduced Trinity, our unique and exciting range of menus, food concepts and service delivery that is aimed at enhancing the student dining experience.
The menus within the concept have been created by our own secondary development chefs coupled with our directly employed nutrition team to ensure we are compliant and capture culinary authenticity. Our development chefs work alongside the catering team to put in place our recommended food offers, as well as train them to ensure consistency is maintained.
Through our dedicated management team and working in partnership with the school, we radically enhance each student’s dining experience. Our managers, development chefs and senior team actively attend student council meetings and conduct class room exercises along with customer surveys to take in your students’ needs and actively promote health and well-being. We cater to each client’s individual requirements whilst providing a completely cost-effective catering service designed to fit unique objectives and meet your key priorities, resulting in a progressive food service offer.
