Horniman Museum
On the 4th of April we brought a group of 45 pupils to the Horniman museum.

The faculty offers a broad design based creative spectrum from fine art through vocational art and the Creative and Media Diploma to Graphics, Product Design and the hands on practical subjects of Resistant Materials, Food technology and Textiles design.
During the two years of our key stage three syllabus all students have the opportunity to experience the exciting and rewarding disciplines of Art, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Food Technology and Textiles Design. We also offer clubs to enable students to expand personal development and experiment with a wide range of equipment and resources in all of our art and technology areas.
At key stage four students are offered the opportunity to study a comprehensive Art based syllabus including GCSE, Vocational Art and the Creative and Media Diploma. We also offer students GCSE Food, Textiles, Resistant materials and Graphic products. All of these options are supported by after school workshops to enable students to develop their learning and complete assignments on time to a high standard.
Our post sixteen programme delivers the opportunity to study Vocational Art, the Creative and Media Diploma and offers our design students A level Product Design.
Our workshops and studios are well established with a wide range of traditional equipment that offer students the facility to produce 3D products from wood , metal, plastics, clay and textiles. We also have a modern range of computer aided equipment including, card cutting and shaping, wood, metal and plastic milling, laser cutting and computer controlled sewing machines
